Celebrating a year of momentum

It’s been one year since we changed our name to Ampacity, but over a decade since we got our start as the leading distributor of single-axis solar trackers.

Defined as the maximum amount of current a conductor can safely carry, the name “Ampacity” underscores our commitment to accelerating the clean energy transition with expanded solutions—electrical, structural, and beyond.

Our first year under the new name highlighted that drive for speed, quality, and reliability in clean energy deployment.

We enhanced our electrical supply offerings to provide data center operators and other project owners with the quickest turnaround times and highest-quality materials at our distribution centers across the country. And we remain the most reliable value-added distributor of the top brands of structural solar tracker solutions on the market.

We also opened a new distribution center in Iowa, stocking structural and electrical solutions for solar, energy storage, wind, data center, and other projects. The new site houses our largest-ever investments in handling and processing machinery for electrical goods.

Our expanded services don’t stop there. From design engineering to row kitting to installation and training programs, Ampacity is constantly striving to get projects to the finish line faster and smarter.

Since 2014, we’ve delivered more than 8 GW of fully engineered solar systems to 44 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces.

We’ve accelerated our mission of putting clean energy in motion in our first year under our new name—and we’re just getting started.
